Focus Featuring Alex

When:

26th July 2014 12:00AM

Where:

Valve Bar
871 George St, Sydney

July can only mean one thing. The third Focus, this time, featuring none other that a DJ who has been playing sets that no other Sydney DJ has dared to play. That's right, Alex 'Chico' Arias, who brings a clear sense of emotion, drive, and a certain dash of old-school to every set he plays. And rightfully so, as we've heard many people exclaiming that he is there favourite local DJ (just ask Zac Slade, and prepare yourself for some sincere gushing), and someone who has more often than not delivered the "set of the night" at any gig he plays at. Alex doesn't have any room for fluff. He knows exactly what he likes, and exactly what is going to make you move, and what more can you ask of a DJ, really?

Warming up for Alex, will be Rossco, someone who you would have seen at the last two Focus parties, or many other gigs across Sydney over the past ten years. He'll be bringing some chuggy baseline and melody powered progressive as well as maybe a few surprises. Expect nothing less than pure atmosphere and tension so Alex can jump on board and show you what he's really made of.

We'd also like to welcome Jonathan Big-j for his first set at Focus. You've undoubtedly seen Big-J play at Digital Therapy, or for that matter any number of other gigs around Sydney.... or London.... or Auckland.... or Adelaide.... or wherever the hell else he's jetting off to at the moment. The fact of the matter is, that Big-J brings some serious uplifting 138-140 vibes to round out the night. We're talking Sean Tyas, Bryan Kearney, Indecent Noise. You know the drill.

As always, Focus on Trance.Progressive.Tech.Uplifting/Music
